RETENTION ELECTION

CANDIDATE RATINGS

The below candidates are current judges whose terms were coming to an end. As with all judges in the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania, they all ran unopposed in the Nov. 4 general election, when voters will be asked if each judge should be retained for another 10-year term in a  “yes” or “no” referendum.

The members of the Allegheny County Bar Association, many of whom practice before these judges, were asked if they recommend those judges up for retention. The below judges were overwhelmingly recommended for retention by the ACBA, and also opted in to the Retention Election Campaign managed by the ACBA Judicial Excellence Committee (PAC).
